I had an exceptional stay, with location to centre of Funchal...

During my recent travel to Funchal, I stayed at Casal Da Penha Apartments only for transit purposes. The location of the hotel was incredibly convenient as it was just 20 km away from the nearest airport. Being a frequent traveler, I always appreciate hotels that are easily accessible from the airport, saving me precious time and energy on my journey.

While my stay at Casal Da Penha Apartments was overall positive, there was one minor drawback that I observed. The comfort level of the accommodation fell slightly below my expectations.

Stayed at a place with free WiFi, AC, and a terrace. Fancy toaster was a nice touch, made me feel like a queen.

Who needs peace and quiet when you can have an alleyway shared with a noisy bar? Absolute bliss.

Our stay at the studio apartment in Funchal was absolutely fabulous. The apartment was tastefully decorated with a modern and clean design. It had everything we needed for a short stay, including a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom. The balcony offered incredible views of the city, where we enjoyed a dinner with a bottle of wine gifted by the owner. We also had a fantastic dinner at the highly recommended restaurant downstairs, with a special discount. The location was ideal, with supermarkets and the historic center within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Madeira!

The air conditioning turning off during the night disturbed our sleep on several occasions. Additionally, the bright display light of the air conditioning acted as a night light in the room.

Maikel is an awesome host, super friendly and helpful! The apartment is mind-blowing with its modern and clean interior. The balcony offers a jaw-dropping view of the city and ocean. The restaurant downstairs is top-notch, had the best food! Everything you need is provided in the apartment - free Wi-Fi, electric kettle, kitchen utensils, flat-screen TV. The location is perfect and there's a lift for convenience. No smoking allowed, and cots are available. I would definitely come back!

Amazing host! The guy took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The view from our balcony was stunning - city lights and the ocean right there! The restaurant in the apartment complex served top-notch food and wine. A great place to stay if you're visiting this location!

Not much really. If you struggle with walking, it might be a bit of a hassle to get to the old town, about a half-hour walk from the hotel.

New, modern, clean. Equipped kitchen, TV, air conditioning, balcony with nice view. Spacious bathroom, Wi-Fi. Parking available. Close to city center, walkable. Nearby grocery stores. Helpful owner. Amazing food in restaurant next door.
